2nd Annual Stones to Homes Pulte Curling Tournament brings together trades and community in support of the Housing First Minnesota Foundation

The 2nd Annual Stones to Homes Pulte Curling Tournament, hosted in partnership by the Housing First Minnesota Foundation and Pulte Homes of Minnesota, LLC, proved to be an incredible afternoon of fun, connection, and impact. Returning for its second year, the event brought together industry partners, supporters, and community leaders for a unique curling experience—all in support of the Foundation’s mission of partnering to build safe housing for Minnesotans in need.

This year’s event was made even more special with the participation of Aidan Oldenburg, a member of the U.S. National Curling Team, who competed as part of the USA Men’s Curling Team in the Winter Olympics this past February in Milan. Having an elite athlete in attendance added excitement and inspiration, giving participants a chance to learn from someone who competed at the highest level of the sport.

Fundraising with impact
Thanks to strong attendance, generous sponsors, and enthusiastic participants, the event raised significant funds for the Housing First Minnesota Foundation. These dollars will directly support programs that strengthen the capacity of the Housing First Minnesota Foundation to assist in Community Build Projects and help address homelessness and housing needs across Minnesota. The continued growth of this event shows just how committed partners and supporters are to making a difference. “People had a great time,” said David Von Ruden, land development manager at Pulte Homes of Minnesota. “Plus, it goes to a great cause.”

Looking ahead
The Foundation is grateful to Pulte Homes of Minnesota, LLC, for its continued partnership and to everyone who joined on the ice for the second year of this special event. “What a great turnout and great teams,” said Chuck Ratts, area construction manager at Pulte Homes of Minnesota, LLC. “This was a fun opportunity to give back and support. We hope to keep this going, as it seems to be a highlight of the winter.”

With strong momentum and growing enthusiasm, the Foundation looks forward to making this curling fundraiser an even bigger success in the years to come.
