Parade of Homes Announces Spring Tour in Rochester Metro Area

The Rochester region has seen increased demand for new housing.

Housing First Minnesota has announced the growth of its Parade of Homes tour to the Rochester metro area. This marks the first time the tour will be held in Greater Minnesota, providing new visibility for builders and remodelers in the region.

The Rochester-area Parade of Homes will take place from March 21–April 20 and will feature seven homes for tour-goers to explore. The event is free and open to the public.

According to a release from Housing First Minnesota, the expansion aims to connect more Minnesotans with housing options in one of the state’s fastest-growing areas. The Rochester region, driven by the presence of the Mayo Clinic and ongoing economic growth, has seen increased demand for new housing.

“We’re pleased to bring the Parade of Homes to the Rochester metro area this spring,” said James Vagle, CEO of Housing First Minnesota. “Our home tours help Minnesotans explore new construction options and connect with builders and communities in their region.”

The spring tour in Rochester will also feature the continuation of the Parade of Homes’ First-Time Homebuyer $10K Giveaway program. First-time homebuyers can apply for $10,000 in down payment assistance towards purchasing their first home throughout the Spring Parade of Homes Rochester.
