This summer, Lennar staff and Carpentry Contractors Company (CCC) teamed up to build a shed for Home Free, a community program that serves as a safe haven for victims and survivors of domestic violence and their children, while providing safety planning, emotional support and legal advocacy to families impacted by domestic violence.
Lyman Lumber donated all building material needed for the shed, Lyman Roofing and Siding donated roofing and soffit material, and CCC donated labor and trucking to build and place the unit once complete. The new shed replaced a shed used to store children’s bikes and outdoor toys that had been damaged in a spring storm. The team collaborated to complete the shed and deliver it to Home Free in Plymouth.
