Celebrating the Parade of Homes’ 75th anniversary

This fall, the Parade of Homes celebrated its 75th anniversary of home tours in the Twin Cities. With 367 new homes and 38 remodeled homes on the tour, it was a fun community celebration for the whole metro area. To make it even more special, homebuilders and tourgoers came together at a series of events throughout the Twin Cities metro. From puppy parties to a brewery bash, the Parade of Homes made their special milestone memorable.

Community pop-ups

Each Saturday during the tour, a different neighborhood hosted a community pop-up. With outdoor workouts, giveaways, food trucks, free coffee, and even puppies to play with, these pop-ups were a time to get to know your fellow tourgoers and enjoy the tour.

The Parade of Homes took the home tour to the hallmark! People stopped by to pick up their guidebooks, grab a bandana for their pet, or pick up other fun merch before watching the game.

Ope’n Haus collaboration brew

One of the most exciting parts of the anniversary celebrations was the brand new limited edition “Ope’n Haus” hazy pale ale, created in collaboration with Bauhaus Brew Labs. This brew featured a blend of floral and citrus flavors like orange and clementine. On September 7, Bauhaus Brew Labs hosted a celebration launch party, with live music and giveaways.
