More than 720 housing industry professionals gathered at the Canterbury Park Expo Center in February for the annual Builders & Remodelers Show (BRS), presented by Housing First Minnesota. This is a private event for builders, remodelers, architects, building officials designers, and construction students to explore the latest trends, products, and services shaping the industry.
With more than 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services, the event allowed attendees to discover advancements in building materials, smart-home technology, and design trends. Industry professionals exchanged ideas and forged valuable business connections. From energy-efficient solutions to high-tech home automation, exhibitors provided insights into the future of home construction and renovation.
Beyond the exhibition, the event featured four Genius Huddle sessions, where experts shared insights on key topics influencing the housing market and business operations. Sessions included a high-level overview of recent energy code changes, AI tools for builders and remodelers, marketing tips and tricks, and a highlight of new products and services in homebuilding.
“The Builders & Remodelers Show brings together every corner of the industry under one roof,” said Mary Catherine Penny, senior director of events at Housing First Minnesota. “It’s a chance for professionals to get inspiration, see innovations up close, and strengthen connections that support the industry year-round.”
