Doors to some of the most exquisite homes across the Twin Cities opened to the public this weekend as part of the Summer Artisan Home Tour. This summer’s event also marks the 10th year since its inception in 2014.

This summer’s tour features 16 new homes and seven high-end remodeling projects.

Tourgoers can meet and speak with these artisan-level builders and remodelers, get inspired by design and decor trends, and support a good cause.

Partial proceeds from the Artisan Home Tour help to support the work of the Housing First Minnesota Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization composed of Housing First Minnesota members and supporters who contribute their time, materials and expertise to help the Foundation build and remodel safe housing for Minnesota’s homeless, veterans and others in need. Recent projects include an apartment renovation for women undergoing substance treatment and new homes designated as housing for veterans in need.

Tickets for the tour can be purchased online or at the homes. Guidebooks are available at Bachman’s and Kowlaski’s Market locations across the Twin Cities metro.

Homes on the Summer Artisan Tour are open June 9-11, 16-18, & 23-25 from 12-6 p.m. with remodeled homes only open the final weekend.
